Although, you will frequently see online media produced by companies or individuals who are not originally from the Houston metro area list the neighborhood as Bear Branch subdivision.

Bear Branch village had the majority of its 1,087 homes built during the 1970s. Construction in the neighborhood started in the early 70s and continued into the 21st century on lots that had been purchased and held onto. One of the more unique things about the Bear Branch village subdivision has to be its surrounding two other Kingwood neighborhoods. Those being Village Falls and Brownstone which sit right in the middle of the widest portion of the subdivisions boundaries.
